A key element of the Cellomics' value proposition is our ability to develop, deliver and support a total solution for High Content Screening (HCS) and High Content Analysis (HCA).  Validated reagents remain the largest unmet need to drive the expansion of HCS/HCA into much broader applications.  Cellomics will be part of the Fisher Biosciences unit of Fisher Scientific International which includes brands that sell reagents including Pierce, Endogen, Dharmacon, and HyClone.  Cellomics, as part of the Fisher Biosciences Group, will offer expanded and improved reagents and assays, plus improved customer service and support to all of our customers. Another benefit of the acquisition is improved access to academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical accounts worldwide via Fisher Scientific's vast distribution network.  A final important aspect of the transaction is a continued relationship between Fisher and Carl Zeiss to collaborate in the areas of HCS and HCA.
