The power of the Thermo Scientific Cellomics Specialized BioApplications

The automated analysis of neuronal maturation and pathology by the Extended Neurite Outgrowth BioApplication includes quantification of somal morphology along with neurite length and neurite branching measurements. The image (left) displays the masking of individual neurons by the algorithm with branch points depicted with yellow boxes. The cells were immunofluorescently labeled with an antibody to Tubulin.

The automated analysis of tumor cell motility by the Cell Motility BioApplication includes the quantification of motility track size and quantity. The image (left) displays the masking of individual motility tracks that have been produced on a lawn of fluorescent spheres by cancer cells migrating over an extracellular matrix protein.

The Core BioApplications include automated analysis of a wide range of biological events. The Core BioApplications are general image analysis tools for multiplexed HCS assays. Compartmental Analysis features comprehensive cell segmentation for quantification of molecular movement and colocalization. Target Activation features tools for GFP and population analysis while Morphology Explorer features sophisticated analytical capabilities for multi-cellular and sub-cellular morphometry.
