Thermo Scientific Cellomics HCS Applications Server (HCS-AS) is the middleware framework in Cellomics' High Content Informatics (HCiTM ) software platform for High Content Screening ,High Content Analysis and cellular discovery. The HCS-AS performs a critical role in the overall HCS process, providing the business level logic for HCS and high content analysis as well as the data access to Thermo Scientific Cellomics Store, our field proven, highly scalable solution for HCS data and image management. The HCS-AS also creates a framework for a number of Applications Server plug-in modules that perform various functions for HCi. HCS-AS is the culmination of over 5 years of experience of managing, analyzing and working with HCS data and was built from the ground up using pure C# and utilizes the Microsoft .NET framework.
