HCi 2005 offers a comprehensive set of updates for all ArrayScan® HCS Reader (v.3.1/4.0/3.5/4.5/VTI), KineticScan® HCS Reader and vHCS™ Discovery ToolBox users
Why Update?
HCi 2005 adds numerous updates and enhancements to Thermo Scientific Cellomics software applications. With the main focus on ease-of-use, improvements have been made to visualization and analysis, multi-user support, improved speed and robustness of data management. These software enhancements improve user productivity by addressing key ”pain” points in HCS workflow and respond to input from our customer base. All Thermo Fisher Scientific customers are eligible to receive HCi 2005. Customers with current warranty or maintenance and support agreements will receive it at no additional charge. HCi 2005 continues Thermo Fisher Scientific's ethos of continued, active development and innovation to improve HCS technology.

Improve the productivity of your HCS assay development through improvements to disk scanning, allowing more efficient re-analysis of images and protocol optimization. Reduce the administrative overhead of installing software, through a single integrated install process for all platforms. A new Licensing manager reduces license administration tasks and gets users up and running quickly. A new HCS Applications server and support for HCS Gateway™ provide an important evolutionary step towards an open, company-wide, standard system for HCS data management from any licensed HCS instrument.

New integrated installer updates all instrument and vHCS Discovery ToolBox clients detecting appropriate versions of software and migrating settings as appropriate. New HCS Applications Server 1.5 – updating of our middleware portion of HCi to improve robustness and update infrastructure.

New HCS Spooler service 1.5 – improvements to robustness and reliability. New HCS Administrator 1.5 – improvements to the archiving process and usability of the user interface. New vHCS:View 1.4.3 – several key usability enhancements and improved support for Kinetics and data from licensed third party readers. New Thermo Scientific Cellomics Store 1.3.4 – improvements to performance and data integrity.
New vHCS Scan 5.5.1.2 (x.5 and VTI customers only) – the latest version of Scan with improved usability e.g. Protocol Manager, Disk Scan Wizard and links between Scan and View. New KSR 2.2.0 Upgrade (KSR customers only)—offers improved live-cell kinetics and access to the complete portfolio of V2 BioApplications. New V2 BioApplications update (x.5 and KSR customers only) - offers significant productivity and usability enhancements. New Licensing management is significantly enhanced to a more efficient and robust scheme.
