Robust Module for Full Live-Cell HCS

Known for its robust imaging and integrated informatics solution, the ArrayScan® VTI HCS Reader now offers complete live-cell, quantitative kinetic imaging through the addition of the live-cell module. Scientists now have the ability to not only image live cells, but to keep those cells alive for both short- and long-term experiments in a controlled environment similar to that of a tissue culture incubator.

Simple Scheduling and Powerful Calculations

Simple scheduling allows for flexibility of scanning the desired area of a plate along with defining the time course and number of scans. With the VTI Live module installed, the ArrayScan VTI HCS Reader has the ability to calculate kinetic features on any output feature. In addition, motility features track live cells over an extended time course and report features such as persistence, acceleration, and directionality on a cell-by-cell or well-by-well level.

Cell Tracking

The most biologically relevant way to perform live-cell HCS is to track each individual cell over your desired time course. Quantitative measurements can be made on cells that are fully tracked throughout the time course.

Temperature Control (Software Controlled)	Ambient to 45ºC. Temperature variation is <0.3ºC over 72 hours. Reported feature at each time point.
CO2 Mixed Gas (Software Controlled)	0-10% Saturation with less than 0.1% variation measured across a plate. Reported feature at each time point.
Relative Humidity	Bubbler feature allows for greater than 90% relative humidity inside live-cell chamber.
External Control Module	12”W x 17”D x 19”H control unit for temperature and CO2 control.
